Join me for my Australia art show debut at the Wild Thing exhibition in Sydney! Wild Thing is a collaborative exhibition of paintings, drawings, prints, photography and more from various artists based on the wildlife living in Australia’s most notable botanical gardens, all curated and arranged by Stephanie Chambers.
For this show, I’ve created a series of miniature gouache paintings on wood depicting the pollinators of the region (birds and bugs!). I will be in attendance for the August 3rd reception, and my paintings will be for sale.
Proceeds from the sales at this event go to the artists and to Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens, helping the not-for-profit organization to continue its support of the horticulture, conservation, scientific research and education programs.
The show is taking place from August 3 -18, 10am-4pm daily in the Lion Gate Lodge at the Royal Botanical Garden: Mrs Macquaries Rd, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.
