Paintings, Peonies, Board Books, Otters, and more good stuff
Some great news to share:
First, I am in an art show opening this Friday, June 1st, running through July 1st, 2018 at Nahcotta in Portsmouth, NH. The show is called Audio/Visual, and for it, I was asked to create artwork inspired by a favorite record. I chose the wonderful Year of Meteors by Laura Veirs, which you can see online here. Lastly, I recently traded sketches with other illustrators for this fun swap run by my friend and former Art Director Alyssa Nassner called Ten Paces and Draw. My painting of the baby mop — a “Useless Invention” (but actually kind of a brilliant one) is inspired by my delightful new niece Goldie Jo.
