Things I am up to.
I’ve been shipping LOTS of Mother’s Day and Graduation orders these days from the boygirlparty shop and the boygirlparty Etsy shop! I have to say, as an artist, it is always a thrill to send my work into a home. Doubly awesome when someone’s making a gift of it to another. Here are little thank you notes I wrote for each order heading out today:
Lately, I’ve been super busy planning ICON the Illustration Conference. I’m part of an incredible board, each person putting their heart into making this the best (and already record breaking) conference yet. If you’ll be there in Portland this July, check out the ROADSHOW, a pop-up marketplace and portfolio show featuring the best and brightest of ICON’s illustration community. And if you’re attending the conference, keep an eye out for little ol’ me, moderating a panel about the working relationship behind the scenes at Chronicle Books – a longtime client of mine who published products of mine such as my bestselling Treetops Journal, below (hey, we’re coming full circle here!):
