I’ll be discussing Young Kid Lit in a moderated panel with fellow San Diego based authors Salina Yoon and Virginia Loh-Hagen at the first ever San Diego Book Festival on Saturday, August 26th, 2017.
The event will take place on August 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Corky McMillin Companies Event Center at Liberty Station and is free for all outdoor activities. Indoor author discussions will cost $1 or $2 admission fee, a portion of which will be donated to the San Diego Council on Literacy.
The festival will feature approximately 50 authors who will participate in book signings and panel discussions, covering literary genres from young adult to nonfiction.

Scheduled for Aug. 26 at the McMillin Companies Event Center in Liberty Station, The San Diego Book Festival is patterned after similar events that have become fixtures in American cities from coast to coast. They typically feature appearances and signings by authors, food, music, and activities for children.
