Order by December 10th in the US to receive your order in time for the holidays.

If you’re in San Diego, you can catch me and my shop in person at:

  • Makers Arcade — this Saturday, December 10th. Broadway Pier – 1000 N Harbor Dr. A super fun, curated shop featuring 60+ artists, live music, cocktails and food, and sweeping views of San Diego. $5. 11am-5pm
  • Craft & Draft at the Blind Lady Ale House — this Sunday, December 11th. Shop local…in my neighborhood! This event is super fun and intimate — 10 neighborhood artists come together for BLAH’s annual charity raffle. Handmade stuff, local artwork, pizza, beer, and good people. Free. 11:30 – 4pm

And if you’re in Los Angeles, you have until Saturday to see the annual Post It Show at Giant Robot! It’s up for less than a week. You can buy post it show artwork online but it’s a little bit of a gamble! Here are mine for this year’s show:

Lastly, What Will Grow? — releasing February 2017 — has been getting some rave reviews including a starred review in the School Library Journal! Pre-order your copy through a local bookseller or here. Get Stack the Cats, too!

Are you ready? My debut picture book as author-illustrator – Stack the Cats – is now available for pre-order on Amazon from Abrams Books! I’ll have it available in my shop after its release date of May 2017, and there will be incentives to order directly from me (like autographed books with a one-of-a-kind cat drawing!) and a couple book launch events, so please stay tuned!

What Will Grow? — my next picture book with amazing nature writer Jennifer Ward — is a completely different kind of book, and also available for pre-order (and comes out a little sooner, February 2017.)

It’s been awhile since I updated the blog — I’m so sorry. I’ve just been SO busy! Speaking of picture books, I was honored and astounded to be selected as a winner of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Portfolio Mentorship Award for 2016! Working closely with the mentors at the SCBWI conference in Los Angeles was one of the highlights of my year and an amazing learning opportunity. For those looking to get into the world of children’s books, you must join SCBWI — it’s an incredible organization I’m so proud to be part of!

Those following me on social media know I’ve been standing up for my art while curating art shows while illustrating magazines while appearing on the news while designing new products and shipping orders while painting new paintings while traveling, doing craft shows, attending conferences, writing books,… if I haven’t updated here in awhile, it’s just because I’m only one person!

Snail Mail enamel pins (and other pins) are new in the shop!
